A computer built for AI agents
MangoTart is a dedicated computer that runs an AI agent called Hermes. It includes MangoTart Agent OS, a persistent browser runtime, a local console, updates, diagnostics, and backup/recovery controls. You can talk to Hermes from supported chat apps and connect tools for email, files, websites, and scheduled work.
The runtime is yours. Hermes state, credentials, and the browser profile live on the device. When a workflow calls your model provider, sends a message, visits a website, or uses an external tool, the necessary data goes to that service. See the complete MangoTart data flow.
Bring your own AI provider
We don't sell tokens or run a model proxy. The device's job is to get your own AI provider working. During setup you pick one:
- A ChatGPT subscription (recommended) — connect an eligible ChatGPT account without an API key. MangoTart adds no separate model fee; your ChatGPT plan and limits still apply.
- Any provider Hermes supports — your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Gemini, and more), an OAuth login, or a custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Billing always stays on your own provider account — we do not proxy or resell model access. Requests sent to that provider remain subject to its pricing and data policies.

Why this matters
Because the model account is yours, there is no shared MangoTart token pool between you and the provider. We bind the device to your MangoTart account for ownership, warranty, updates, and support — never for model billing.
What you can do with it
- Chat from Telegram, Discord, Slack, WeChat, Lark, and a dozen other apps.
- Email — let the agent read and draft from your own mailboxes. See the Email tool.

- Browse — sign the device's browser into your accounts so the agent can act on the web.
- Remember — a memory file the agent keeps about you and the people and projects you mention.
- Schedule — recurring tasks, like a morning briefing delivered to your chat app.
How setup works
MangoTart has no screen, so you set everything up from your phone or computer.
Plug in
Connect power and an Ethernet cable. MangoTart comes online by itself — no display or keyboard needed.
Open it
Visit the address printed on the device label (http://mango-xxx-yyy.local). Can't reach it? Open the find page and enter the MT-XXXXXXXX device code to get a clickable local link.
Onboard
A guided wizard binds your account, sets an admin PIN, picks your model provider, sets your time zone, and connects your first chat app. That's it.
Once setup is done, open Telegram (or whichever app you connected) and start chatting with your agent.
